OLED Displays are sharp and energy efficient displays that doesn’t have a backlight. These displays are small in size with good resolution. So displaying a small text is visible without any pixellation. Because of these properties, it is used in battery operated devices, Printer Displays, etc. The term OLED stands for “Organic Light emitting diode” it uses the same technology that is used in most of our televisions but has fewer pixels compared to them.
